Oscillating Be stars

Abstract:

The mass ejection mechanism in Be stars is unknown. Recent CoRoT observations indicate that both pulsation and rotation signatures are present in the light variations. A study of uninterrupted light variations in conjunction with spectroscopic monitoring should give strong clues as to the nature of the mechanism.
