DASC
Danish Asteroseismology Centre
The purpose of the Danish AsteroSeismology Centre (DASC) is to investigate the internal structure and dynamics of stars by studying their oscillations.

Star One of the most important activities in DASC is the participation in NASA's Kepler project by coordinating the use of data from the Kepler satellite to learn about the inner structure of stars, using asteroseismology.

On the following pages you can read more about what asteroseismology is, and how Kepler will provide a fantastic dataset for looking inside the stars with this technique.

DASC is a part of the Astronomy Group located at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (IFA), Aarhus University, Denmark.
